Read Me - Installation Instructions

1. Click on the underlined link titled “remote client software version 1.2.8A”
2. Click “save” and select the C:\ as the destination folder
3. When download is complete, click “close” on the download window.
4. Minimize the web browser, click on “My Computer”, then “Local Disk (C:)”
5. Double click on “USA_Remote_Client_1-2-8A”
6. Click on “Run” is window pops up that says “this program cannot be verified”
7. Click “Browse” on window titled “USA_Remote_Client_1-2-8A- WinRAR”
8. Select C:\ as destination and click “OK” then click “Install”
9. Close out all windows, and return to the Local Disk (C:)
10. Open file folder titled “Maxum 2006 server version 1.2.8A”
11. Double click on icon labeled “Client” (It looks like two monitors with arrows pointing back and forth)
12. It will ask you for a password. Click “OK”, there is no password.
13. Next click “Setup”
14. Click “Server Setup” in the upper right hand corner of the setup window
15. Click on “server-01”
16. In the address field put in the IP address 63.253.105.178
17. Put 4 in number of channels
18. Type in USA remote client in server name
19. Click “OK”
20. Click on the advanced tab on the upper left hand corner of the setup window
21. Checkmark “auto-remote playback” and “high quality playback”
22. Click “APPLY” then “OK”
23. Select a four screen split on the upper right hand side of the screen
24. Click on the “CONNECT” button on the bottom middle of the screen
25. Click on the “Select all” button on bottom left of connect window and all channels will highlight out
26. Click “OK” and video should appear. *If connection is not made, try disabling firewalls and security*
27. Camera 1 is a PTZ- Control it by pressing the PTZ button

Minimum System Requirements:

• Windows XP or 2000
• Internet Explorer 6.0 or later.
• Make sure Active X controls are enabled in your Brower Settings.
• Pop-up windows should not be blocked

To enter the live demo, enter the following User Name and Password:

• User ID: User (Case sensitive)
• Password: 4321
